Truck Camper Tour / Arctic Fox / Tips Tricks and Modifications

This week I’m taking you on a Truck Camper Tour of my 2004 Arctic Fox M860. I’m not a full-time Youtuber, a full-time RV’er or a full-time traveler. I’m just a regular guy busting my back working Monday through Friday so I can enjoy my weekends. A year and a half ago I decide to buy a GoPro and start documenting my travels. Since then, I have been introduced to some really cool viewers. I chat with so many of the same people every week in the comments you all are really starting to feel like friends. I know my traveling style is not for everyone. The upgrades I have done are to make weekend travel easy. With that said I do not buy expensive equipment seen on other channels. If that was the case, I would have to work more to pay for that stuff and I’d never have time off. I have a lot of van-life people, off grid living folks and fellow truck camping people who come along with me on my weekly travels. I have learned a lot from you all in the comments, so I really appreciate all the engagement. Next week the freezing temperatures are returning along with the possibility of a snowstorm or blizzard. We will see how those effects next week’s video!

Essential Truck Camper Maintenance

This weekend I’m doing some preventive maintenance checks on my Arctic Fox Truck Camper and Chevy Silverado 3500 Truck. I have torn my roof in the past and used tape to cover it. Now my tape is ripping. I’ve been thinking about putting a metal bar along the roof edge to protect it from branches. Kind of like a rocker guard on a jeep. For now, I’ll just put another layer of tape over it…….it’ll be fine! I also checked for gas leaks because that is very important to do often. The Silverado needed to be greased. I do my own oil changes and sometimes I skip the zerks. It was also a good time to check that all the aftermarket parts I installed are still mounted tightly. Thanks for checking out the video.

Solo Winter Truck Camping / Dutch Oven Campfire Pizza | Engwe EP-2 Pro Review

Welcome to this week’s video. I’m at the Savanna State Park in Aitkin County Minnesota. I came out here to test my new E-Bike the Engwe. It’s an awesome little electric bike that took me all over the park. I will leave links below if you are interested in the Engwe. They are going to be running a Valintine day special now until February 17th, 2023.
The park was super quiet. I was the only one use the camping facilities. There was a person renting a cabin in the park, but I only saw their vehicle once. I went on a late-night walk through the woods. I was on a Cross Country Ski trail, so it was fairly easy walking. I didn’t hear any noises in the woods, the cold crisp evening air was keeping most animals looking for shelter.
I made pizza in the Dutch Oven over the campfire, it was a big failure. The crust was no good, thankfully I was able to salvage the toppings.
Thankfully we haven’t had any big snowstorms or blizzards to contend with, but our temperatures have been freezing cold. Hopefully spring arrives soon so I don’t have to spend so much money heating the truck camper every weekend. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you next week.
