When I first started the game I thought of Grey Bumpers as simple hazards you have to avoid and occasionally can get an extra extension for your Power Meter. Until I started to purposefully hunt them down to expand the Meter early on during Grands Prix. Since the player carries on the Power Meter into the next races of a GP and Mini Prix, this method can give you an advantage over other racers.
For this guide I tested the Wild Goose and Golden Fox. The Wild Goose can take bumps and hits more easily than any other machine. The Golden Fox can refill the Power Meter extremly fast by driving over Pit Areas, which makes this a very viable strategy for it. But it also works for any other glider in the game. Just take a little more care of your bumping with the Blue Falcon and Sting Fireray when you go on a hunt.
7 KOs will extend the Power Meter to it’s fullest
