Star Fox 64 [Part 1] – Hard Route: Good Job! Keep Up The Pace!

Star Fox 64 is one of my favorite games of all time that I have been endlessly quoting since its release in 1997. It was a spectacle of its time, introducing tons of actual voice dialogue and controller rumble feedback, as well as ultra fluid controls and gratifying huge boss explosions. It is always a blast to run through, and each run takes about an hour. But the fun part is routing it as you see fit, with 3 suggested paths separated by difficulty: Easy, Medium, and Hard; However, unlike the SNES game, these paths can be intersected for a custom mix, which is ideal for high score runs. About 8 years ago, I got very good at this game while trying to mimic zallard1 and his insane score runs, but I’ve since forgotten the best strategies and therefore didn’t even beat my lowest score here. This video is just a casual let’s play staying locked to the Hard Route to kick things off.
